Byte’s July 1977 issue had a feature article titled “How to Computerize Your Model Railroad”. And so Robert Tinney painted a cover showing a train chugging around a printed circuit board.

Had the scene existed in real life, and had a photographer taken a picture of it, this is what it might have looked like.

Mr. Tinney has given me permission to sell prints of this photograph.

Currently, I offer metal and photographic prints in 12×12 and 16×16 sizes. If you would like to order a different size or type (framed print, fine art print, T-shirt, etc.) please contact me. Prints are mailed flat within the US and in a tube internationally. Shipping is free in the US; international shipping is $20.

Photographic prints are on paper; metal prints are on rigid aluminum. The metal prints are more expensive, but they do not require a frame and they come with mounting hardware already installed, so they are ready to hang on your wall.

If you buy two or more prints, you will get a 15% discount in your cart.

One last thing: I’m working on more Byte cover re-creations. If you’d like to be notified when they’re ready, please sign up for my mailing list.
